Engaged in development of engineering clusters like automobiles, agriculture machinery and several other engineering industries. Experience in transfer of technology from advanced countries for manufacturing hi-tech aerospace equipments, machine tools and automobiles in India.”

Mr. J. B. Patel

“More than 3 decades of experience in the areas of business opportunity identification, project formulation, project appraisal, counselling and guiding entrepreneurs. Conducted more than 10 international programmes and worked as an expert in a number of developing countries in the above fields. He is also the Local Representative for the Netherland Senior Experts Organisation.”

Mr. S. B. Sareen

“Twenty eight years of experience in teaching and training entrepreneurship at national as well as international level. Has expertise in conducting programmes for New Enterprise Creation, Business Counselling, Growth Programmes for Existing Entrepreneurs, Faculty Development Programmes and Capacity Building Programmes for Resource Persons in the field of Entrepreneurship Development. At EDI, he is heading one of its core centres i.e. "Centre for Small & Medium Enterprises and Business Development Services". Has worked in many countries. Presently looking after two mega projects "Food Processing Industries" and "DST-NIMAT" sponsored by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India and the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India respectively. ”

Mr. K. Ahmed

“In a career space of 33 years, Mr. Ahmed has worked as a development consultant all over NE India in areas of industrial potential survey, project counseling, project management, infrastructure development, rural development and appraisal of industrial projects. He has extensively worked on various HRD activities like policy research, entrepreneurship development, skill up-gradation, capacity building, etc. Also worked with a number of Industrial Development Organizations including deputation to ICICI, RGVN, National Centre for Jute Diversification and Department of Science and Technology (STED), Government of India.
Currently serving as a Director in Federation of North-East Industries and Commerce (FINER) and heading the Committee on skills development. ”

Mr. Ratnadip Dutta

“Has long experience of working as project consultant in NER. Worked with many reputed organizations namely; BYST, NEITCO, IIE, SFAC and Bongaigaon Refinery & Petro Chemicals Ltd. His job responsibilities while working with various organizations are; helping yoputh fpr setting up small enterprises, mentoring, guidance, advisory support services, industrial, technical and management consultancy, surveys, studies, evaluation, impact studies, implementation of various schemes of Ministry of Agriculture and MoFPI, Govt. of India.”

Mr. A. Choudhury

“Post graduate in Economics has long experience of working at grassroots level. He has worked with various institutions like; Barnibari Yubak Sangha, Nalbari as Project Manager, Jaipur Rugs Foundation as Enterprise Promoting Manager for Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, Weavers Development Society of Nalbari, Lokseva Samiti of Tamulpur as project consultant. Also worked on various projects supported by NABARD, RGVN, NEDFi, SIDBI, Assam Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd. He has also worked as State Resource Person in district primary education programme a world bank supported project. ”

Mr. A. J. Goswami

“Mr. Goswami has completed his M.Sc and has rich experience of conducting Rural Entrepreneurship Development Programmes. He has conducted number of REDPs under the sponsorship of KVIC, NABARD and SIDBI from 1996 to 2012. He has successfully worked under STED Project at Nalbari, Assam. He was coordinator in NE centre for all round development and conducted mushroom, fishery training programmes in Assam. Mr. Goswami has also worked as CDF for NABARD sponsored cluster development programme in Kamrup district of Assam.”

Mr. Swarup Choudhury

“An engineering graduate has worked with state promoted technical consultancy organization for 12 years. He has rich experience in preparing project reports, providing industrial consultancy services to SSI, entrepreneurship training for setting up micro enterprises. Has worked on various projects namely; jute Technology Mission, Integrated Infrastructure Development Centre, Tripura, Development of Industrial Estates-Tripura, Piped Natural Gas, Expansion of Growth Centre, Survey of Rural Non-Farm Sector (NABARD), Domestic Tourism Survey of Manipur (NCAER), Rural Industries Programme (SIDBI), Skill Development Programmes (NABARD, KVIC, MoFPI, NEC) etc. ”
